Room was much more spacious than we expected, we traveled with our toddler and appreciated the kitchenette and full blackout curtains. One window opens which was nice to hear the ocean at night. We stayed on the second floor and unfortunately the people below us were inconvenienced by our toddler's pitter platter of feet at 6am. We also experienced noise from the people above us which is more a building issue than a people issue! While we didn't use the pool, it looked like a nice amenity. I did use the laundry which was helpful. The location cannot be beat.

My constructive feedback is that more cleaning supplies being provided would be helpful. We had no dish towels and one dirty used sponge with dish soap that was near empty is all that was provided for us. The broom in the closet was useless as it was so cheap. We went out to buy our own sponges, paper towels and cleaning supplies for our stay. The bath towels and linens could also use a refresh.

We’ve stayed here 2 years in a row for a long weekend mid-September. The negative reviews surprise me because this is by definition a 2 star hotel and it totally delivers as advertised. Basic, budget-friendly accommodation with a modest level of comfort and convenience. Key features include private bathrooms in each room, in-room televisions, pretty well equipped kitchen, dining and sofa space, and limited hotel services like housekeeping and a front desk. For a two-star hotel the ocean front room offers gorgeous ocean views with ceiling to floor windows. All that said, we’ve always experienced a wonderful accommodating staff who has serviced our room as requested and even added decorations for a special occasion. Parking is tight mainly due to the nature of the infrastructure in the area but they have a spacious overflow lot just a few steps away. This is a really great option in Dewey Beach!

Room was very comfortable and spacious! It had the Oceanfront view as promised! The staff, especially the manager, is not so accommodating and is rude and either I knowledgeable or have a deal with the local government! Parking is a very big issue and we were told by the staff where to park yesterday and we took our luggage to our room! By the way, there is not an elevator! By the time we went to the room and back, we had a parking ticket on our windshield! In 5 minutes time! We had parked where we were told to, had our parking pass posted and even had a handicap parking placard but still had to pay a ticket! We were not the only ones, we met another guest who had the same thing happen to him on his first day there! The hotel denied any responsibility! Being handicapped, we had to park down the street and walk to our hotel! You can also hear everything above you! There is coffee in the lobby but no breakfast of sorts! I will not stay here again and don’t recommend it!
