Eating environment was old/some-what dirty. Food was mediocre at best, definitely not worth the price.

Banana pancakes are just pancakes with banana pieces thrown into the pancakes while cooking, and caramel syrup is added even though it is not mentioned (I have T1D, so I wouldn’t have ordered it, or would’ve requested no syrup).

Bananas aside, the pancakes were some of the worst I have ever had. They were heavy and dry, reminding me more of corn muffins than pancakes. They were crumbly due to being dry, not like a moist cake crumbly. In addition to a bad pancake batter, they are cooked in seed oil, making the pancakes taste odd (maybe even a burnt-like taste). Even if they were cooked in butter, they couldn’t have been saved. The attached picture is after I scraped off as much caramel syrup as I could.

A family member of mine ordered an omelette, describing the cheese to be of low quality. I can’t remember much else, as I was forcing myself to eat the pancakes (due to dosing insulin for the meal).

Other family members were unsatisfied with the breakfast, describing it as mediocre at best.

The waiter barely talked, only took our orders and brought out one round of beverages (water, two teas, and a chocolate milk). We were not given refills on any of our drinks, and were not given straws without asking for them.

Our experience was bad at this restaurant, and we will not be back.

Typical cheap diner all around, nothing special, some bad things.

Service was ok, young waitress seemed like she was bored until the end when she brought our check and finally smiled…maybe hoping for a nice tip? Upside is we didn’t have to wait, and our food came quickly.

Fairly generic diner food, eggs, home fries, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, etc. Again our food came very quickly, and was decen, good, but nothing outstanding. What made it unpleasant was the very bad coffee served in cheap plastic cups…for $3.50 per cup. Most diners anywhere at least have heavy mugs and ok coffee, not here…was the worst coffee we have had in quite some time. Took one sip and that was it…money spent on something too bad to drink.

Would I go there again… no
Would I recommend…no. Go somewhere else and enjoy a good breakfast with friendly atmosphere, and good coffee.
