Semra's is a restaurant we go to every time we're at Rehoboth beach. It's right on the boardwalk and several steps above in quality compared to most of the food to be found on the boardwalk.

It's nice to get out of the sun and into air conditioning and have access to a bathroom as well.

The food is as high quality as ever- delicious and varied.

However, their AC didn't seem to be functioning so well last week- it was extremely hot and a bit hard to enjoy our meals in that heat.

Also, the prices seem to have gone WAY up from the last time we attended 2 years ago.

I do understand that Covid forced up prices, but $20 sandwiches seemed pretty high to us.

We'll still return, but just be aware that this is no longer a cost-effective food option.

$$. Would recommend for anyone looking for a Mediterranean alternative to the burgers, pizzas and fries of Rehoboth. A personal favorite of mine for the quality of food, local atmosphere, and dine-in option (for those hot beach days). Though prices are higher, you can taste the hard work and balance that goes into each dish to make sure you leave not just full but comfortable as well.

Unfortunately it was one of our worst experiences.
In addition to the overpriced, low quality and ill- served food, the workers are racist!
Once we entered with kids they said oh, why this Arab people have too many kids! They talked in Turkish thinking we don't understand what they say.
No apologies were offered but just embarrassed when confronted.
The menu items are not the same as what's served. It's not Turkish food, it's gyros in different sauces and salads, and uncooked white rice.
The kids menu says chicken and rice, but you get some white rice with hardly 0.5oz of burnt chicken pieces.
Alexander's dish is a joke, it's a dish of gyros dipped in a tomato sauce can, not even cooked.
Fries are literally dripping oil 🤮
Try somewhere else, this place doesn't deserve paying any penny for it.
