Lewes Wear

We were in the store on Sat and saw the sign on the window that if you spent $50 you can get a free tote. Directly underneath the sign was a stack of totes. We made our purchase and asked for tote. He said we needed to spend $100. We pointed to the sign and he ripped it down, crumbled it and threw it in the trash as fast as he could. He said it was an old sign from a previous sale. He should have honored it because the sign was up. We complained. All together we had spent over a $100 so he agreed to give us 1 bag. He handed us a crappy thin bag. The totes that were stacked directly under the sign were canvas and quite nice. That is the tote we thought we were getting. He pointed to another sign elsewhere in the store (we didn’t see that sign) and that one showed the pic of the crappy thin bag. There was no picture on the sign he tore down so we naturally assumed that canvas was the tote we were to get. He said those canvas titles were just stacked there ready to be priced and he hasn’t gotten to it yet. Pretty stupid place to stack them and very misleading to the customer. He was really rude. I say it’s misleading advertising and it’s the stores responsibility to have correct signage throughout the store. He was a super rude older gentleman. I’m not sure who the owner of the store is, but shame on him.

What an amazing well stocked clothing store for Lewes items. My GF and I am walked in to buy a few items and found the owner manning the store. We ended up talking to him for well over 30minutes about everything. What a great story he has. A Russian immigrant who achieved his Americana dream!! The store has the BEST and Highest quality selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other items for Lewes and Lewes Beach. We will definitely be back to buy more, Great gift ideas.

Best quality Lewes tshirts, sweatshirts and hats. I have never had any problems with gentleman working in the store as others have posted. I buy gifts here a few times a year and live local.
