Hotel Bethany Beach

Our family arrived in Bethany and we requested early check in at the hotel. We were given a park pass and complimentary beach chairs and umbrella.

We enjoyed an afternoon at the beach (only two blocks away) and after returning our room was ready early.

Our room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed a great stay and enjoyed the breakfast the next day.

Would highly recommend Bethany Beach Hotel!

We always choose this hotel when we go to Bethany, as finding a house or condo to rent always seems like an additional hassle as you have to get rental insurance and the price is generally the same price as I pay for an all-inclusive Vacation to Turks and Caicos. so we always choose to stay here. The one thing that was new this year is no daily housekeeping, and if you wanted daily housekeeping, it was an additional charge, which is fine by me. I generally don’t like people coming into my room when I stay at hotels, and this is true, even when I travel for business. I prefer every other day. However, I had three girls in my room and we generally like to use two towels a piece and there were only three towels in the room so we found ourselves fighting over towels and yes, we could’ve just went down and asked for more but that just seems like an additional hassle that none of us wanted to do so extra towels in a room would be a plus (I would estimate two per person) and also we found ourselves not sure what to do with all the trash that we had piling up since there was no daily housekeeping we weren’t quite sure what to do with all the trash that we were accumulating. I saw some other guests start to sit their trash outside of their rooms for housekeeping to maybe pick it up as they walk through the halls, I thought about doing this, but wasn’t sure if that was the right thing to do. Maybe a little note inside the room that if your trash does start to pile up, to sit it outside so it doesn’t take over your entire room. I can’t forget to mention one of my favorite parts, the beach chair and umbrella vouchers! I hate lugging chairs and umbrellas to the beach so the vouchers for the free umbrella and chairs is another favorite part of mine. Just make sure you bring cash to the beach to tip the girls that put the umbrellas in the sand for you. It does get hot and it looks like a strenuous job so make sure you tip them, they are free and them girls work hard. This was a mixed stay; the hotel has restaurants walking distance and have discount when you show room key. Mini golf is also included in stay. Beach is also walking distance, great location and friendly staff were positives, but a noisy dog and loud TV in the next room severely disrupted the experience, making sleep impossible. While the hotel is pet-friendly, they should ensure responsible pet ownership and prevent noise disturbances from impacting guests.
