Henlopen Pizza Kitchen

My order was completed almost 6-7 minutes after it was placed which was a red flag for me. We ordered a Large supreme pie with mozzarella sticks and wings. When I got there the restaurant was completely empty so you’d think they’d have no issues making everything fresh but unfortunately when I opened the pizza box at home it’s obvious this was not freshly made pizza. I only live 10 minutes away and the pizza was apparently ready in 5-6 minutes..The veggies were so settled and soggy and the crust was like rubber.
The pizza was a 3/10 I would not recommend it was a pretty sad meal

Great place for a good quick bite. We picked up pizza, garlic bread, and wings from this great place. Absolutely delicious. This was our second time here because of how much we enjoyed our first meal. A must try for sure .

Got to try Henlopen Pizza Kitchen for the first time and it was very solid, but there was one issue. The base of half the pizza was burnt/over cooked showing a sharp black color while the rest of the pie was perfect. The toppings were fantastic and the sauce was exactly what I like in a pie. The taste of the pizza was decent overall, even the burnt base side which is a testament to the rest of the pie. Will give them another chance in the future. I do recommend the location, but please keep an eye on the base of the pizza! Overall, a good NY style pizza.
