Fins Ale House & Raw Bar

We stumbled on FINS last season and it has quickly become one of our staple visits when we’re down in the area. This year, while we were down for the week, we ended up here every single day. The bartender, Kristi, went out of her way to help us and ensure that each of our stops were great. The happy hour specials (which are daily) are all a great deal and more than enough that my wife and I could share and still leave with full bellies.

They have a variety of fresh oysters that change daily. Shucker Joe was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Kristi also treated us to some of her favorites (Fire Lake from PEI) which were amazing! Pricing is comparable to other local spots. Highlight of the specials this week was their turkey Reuben, which had a cranberry aioli that was phenomenal! We’re planning a few more trips this season and FINS is at the top of the list for more visits!

Delicious food! We had one of the specials - seafood in lobster cream sauce with a bit of garlic bread. Very generous with shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. Had to take home leftovers along with creme brulee!!! All delicious!!! The restaurant was busy on a Monday about 6:30pm but we were seated right away since we were only two. The only reason for a 4 atmosphere score was it was so loud! Had to shout a bit to speak with my companion. But Fins is so good, no wonder the loud crowd. 😀

We have had several large group and regular dinner arrangements there! Food always excellent and abundant! Great job Chef Max and also wonderful attention etc by our server Rachael! We had the jumbo shrimp platter and it was as good as ever! Ten extra large shrimp expertly breaded and fried! Congrats Chef Max for the Bourbon Glaze on the broccoli! Definitely a keeper! Prices were pretty average as compared to other nearby restaurants! Will return soon!
