If you want bland food this is the perfect place. Sampler appetizer was horrible. The most bland chicken I’ve ever tasted. Fajitas, burritos, tasted like it had no seasoning. Rice was undercooked. Guacamole was bland. Just a huge no for us. This place clearly caters to a crowd who doesn’t like seasoned food. It was my cousins birthday, and she did NOT enjoy the food at all! If it wasn’t a birthday dinner, I would have sent everything back. 😢 A complete waste of money. Not to mention service is slow.

We ordered take out from el azteca a few months ago. I got my daughter a kids meal cheese quesadilla and she ate half before spitting out a bite saying it was gross. When I looked I saw something dark colored in the food- it was a thin string like, rigid piece of METAL. If she would have swallowed that, it could have lodged in her throat or anywhere else along her GI tract!! We called the restaurant and spoke to a manager and even sent him a picture of what we pulled out of her quesadilla. We got a half hearted apology but nothing else. I had to ASK to at least have the quesadilla refunded, and they agreed to refund me 8.99 for the kids meal. We all ended up throwing out our food because we were so freaked out. There are other good Mexican options in the area that hopefully would take shards of metal in a child's meal more seriously.

The waitress and staff were friendily. The taco salad was excellent and soda/salsa was fine
