East Coast Garden Center

Less than a month old, we purchased 3 Bloodgood Japanese Maples. One was $$$ and @8’ tall. The other two are 4’ tall. Not inexpensive either. The smaller ones are doing great. The taller one has been waning for a couple weeks. Soil was amended. Watered regularly. Mulch around and tied up with garden stakes. But since they did not plant them, no warranty. We had no aforementioned info on their policy. Beyond disappointed. If planted by the customer, they warranty one week, returned in the same pot. Even a half decent plant can make it longer than one week. Seriously?¿?
Don’t think we’ll return. Don’t think we’ll recommend them either.

This place is pretty incredible. Their plant selection is the best I’ve ever seen. Their plants are really well taken care of and employees are at the ready to help if you need it. They are super knowledgeable which is so helpful! They also have plants I haven’t seen at other places (specifically, the poppies among other things)

One thing to note: they do offer delivery and you can pay them to plant for you (ex: we went to buy a tree and wanted to make sure it was done right) and when they plant it does come with a guarantee I believe up to a year. However, they cannot provide these services out of state. We are in Maryland and they said they can’t provide this outside of Delaware. So bummed about that.

Plan to spend a lot of time here. It’s massive and you’ll also probably want to wander to see it all. It’s like Disneyland for plant people.
