Only 35-minutes from the beaches in Southern Delaware is located Delaware Botanic Gardens (DBG) at
30220 Piney Neck Road, Dagsboro. DE 19939. The 37 acre botanic garden was awarded “Best Attraction” in 2022 by Southern Delaware Tourism. Open Thursdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

My parents in their 70s were visiting us in Dagsboro and we took them to the gardens. We had a great guide that explained all our questions and was so knowledgeable. All the trails were flat with gradual climes that were unnoticeable with walking. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed it so much.

With new developments and out of state people coming to delaware, there are a few blessings coming with them. This Gem of a place is one of them. I'm so grateful and love how much thought went into everything here! The statues are so much fun to look for while walking the paths, the pathways themselves are so pretty, and the logs as the guides keep you immersed in the woods. This place is amazing and worth every penny. I hope the new expansion brings more business their way!

Our first visit and we took the guided tour. $15 and $25 with the tour. Very informative. Beautiful grounds. They have memberships too. I think will be worth the price of a membership to be able to return to see the different seasons and what is blooming. Over a mile and a half of trails thru the gardens and into the woods.
