Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seaford

I had booked my reservation online directly through the hotel website. I made sure to check the terms that I would not be charged an incidental fee hold. Once I arrived at the hotel that smelled entirely of weed, i was told I'd have to pay a hundred dollar incidental fee hold. I let them know that this was not on the website when you go to check out. There is no mention of this in the breakdown of fees or the fine print terms. The woman at the desk got on the phone with the manager, and they said, I could pay fifty, instead. The day before I checked in, I was charged for one night's stay and was also never told this would happen. I was supposed to pay in full at the hotel when I checked in. She then tried to make me pay for the full stay. Citing that my bank must have messed up and charged for a night. I explained to her that my bank does not release funds unless they are requested. She said they had no record of the funds being taken. This hotel is one hundred percent a scam. I canceled my second night stay which they also gave me grief about. Do not ever stay here. And yes, I will be following up with their district manager and corporate. Oh, the incidental fee was supposed to be dropped in twenty four hours. But instead, I was charged fully for it.

My stay at Days Inn & Suites was very disappointing. The hallways constantly smelled like cigarettes and weed and there were roaches in the halls along with bed bugs in the beds and sheets. It was uncomfortable and unsanitary. The owners were rude and unhelpful, showing no concern for guests. To make things worse, the cleaning staff would openly talk about guests, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful.
The one positive part of my stay was the manager, Sarah. She was very helpful, professional, and accommodating throughout my visit. She went out of her way to make things easier despite the circumstances. She's the only reason this review gets one star instead of zero

No maid service for almost a week had to ask for towels after they did come in and take the dirty ones. That was the only thing they did. I really like the area and the room, but it could’ve had better service and better communication. Please do not go and complain about anything cause if you do they tell you, you can’t come to their hotel anymore. Even after I talked to the manager and explained to her didn’t seem the matter to her at all.
