Damon Pla Fine Arts | Studio & Gallery

We have purchased multiple pieces from Damon and we proudly display them in our home. Not only is Damon an exceptional artist, he is a wonderful person who is easy to deal with. He and his wife recently went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect gift, and even helped me pull off a surprise in giving that gift to the recipient. Thank you again so much, and we will continue to purchase and enjoy art from Damon and his studio.

I first visited the Damon Pla Art gallery in the summer with my sister, who I would consider conservative and traditional. She was immediately drawn to his surrealist pieces and we spent probably an hour there talking about the different pieces. Damon was in the back studio and stopped his work to talk to us and explain his thought process. I knew that I wanted a piece but couldn't decide which one! My birthday was approaching and I told my husband that I'd like to visit the gallery with him and maybe get a piece for our bedroom for my birthday. Damon remember me and once again spent the time to answer our questions. It was fascinating to me (a Fine Arts major) to observe how my sister and husband responded to his work with definite opinions and lots of conversation, which to me is what happens when you experience this kind of art. We purchased "A Year of Sleep" and we get to enjoy it everyday. I would highly recommend a visit to his gallery. We will definitely go back and can't wait to purchase another painting!

My wife and I recently visited Damon Pla's new gallery, which is very nice and has quite a few of Damon's work on display. Pictures on a web site do not do justice to Damon's art work. His ability to capture light and his attention to detail in his paintings is amazing. We first fell in love with Damon's landscape paintings. We have purchased several and love them for their natural beauty and the way the scene changes depending upon the light. Overtime, we began to also love Damon's surreal paintings. We have several and love the detail and uniqueness of each one. A visit to Damon's gallery should be on anyone's list when they are in the Bethany, Ocean View area.
