Unfortunately, our experience today was disappointing and did not meet the expectations we had before years ago.
The biggest letdown was the Crab Imperial baked shrimp, priced at $36. It was four small crab cakes topped with shrimp (not jumbo size, average grocery taste and size), that had been overcooked and were almost impossible to chew, served on the side with mashed potatoes and green beans more like a simple homemade meal at this kind of the restaurant. I mentioned that, because it’s not dinner, this kind of high quality restaurant. And we expected a more creative, delicious and nice presentation here.
The second plate is fish and chips were good and met expectations, priced $26.
The service was another major disappointment. The staff appeared basic and inattentive throughout our visit. Instead of focusing on service, we repeatedly saw how they standing and chatting with each other in different areas of the dining room, near the entrance, and by the kitchen.
So hospitality is 2/5.
For example, we've received better service and customer care at Grotto Pizza at night before, where the staff is much more attentive to guests and the quality of the dining experience.
Overall, this visit wasn’t about a nice experience, because after all what happened we decided to leave and have desserts at other place.
P.S. bread and butter were much delicious!

As far as the atmosphere goes, it’s more of an upscale setting. The service was good and so was the food, but it’s a bit pricey for the amount of food you get.
We got the oysters Rockefeller as our appetizer, they were really good!
I’ve never had she crab soup, I was told it’s similar to cream of crab, no it’s not! lol it wasn’t terrible, I just prefer cream of crab soup over any soup.
For my main course, I got what they describe as their big fat crab cakes, with fries and sautéed green beens. The fries were delicious, they had a nice slight crisp to them. The green beans were ok,, I recommend sautéing them a little more. The crabcakes had nice chunks of lump crab meat, but there were anything but big and fat, They were very good, but definitely on the smaller size, especially for the price. I know they put their own little twist on their tartar sauce with making it a lemon tartar sauce, but it would be much better if they just went with a traditional tartar sauce.
Overall, the food was good, but like I said, the biggest issue is the amount of food you get doesn’t match the price.

The staff were phenomenal... they catered to us like we were royalty. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. The food was good! The hostess kept everything clean, neat and took care of everyone and everything at the front of the restaurant. She presented herself as a professional and showed exceptional customer service.
