avid hotel Millsboro - Georgetown South, an IHG Hotel

This was actually a pretty good hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was comfy, and I had a nice view of a field, which I did not mind. Good water pressure the room was clean not really anything to complain about with the exception of if you stay here request to stay on the top floor because you hear everything that you’re upstairs neighbor is doing. Think the person that was sleeping in the room above me was tapdancer at 4:30am and 5 AM, & 5:30am. But a solid stay. I’ll come Back next time I’m in town for work.

Avid Hotel was amazing! Great breakfast food every day! Housekeeping staff were also polite and took care of me while I was there for 10 days! Replenishing my towels and cleaning my room and making my bed! The front desk desk staff every single day and every night we’re very polite and helpful! Coffee available 24 seven with a fresh bean ground machine as the coffee and aroma were perfect every single time! Hot tea, hot cocoa, hot coffee available 24:7! Nice workout room and pool! I was a sports official at the Little League World Series in this hotel totally took care of my personal needs during my stay and I could honestly live there lol! Great job staff!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. We were only here for 2 nights and they delivered exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. Only 20 minutes from Bethany beach and about 40 minutes from Rehoboth. We liked the location being close by to restaurants and convenient stores. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The service was awesome, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Seemed like a safe community. Overall, we only had one complaint about the bathroom. The water pressure was very low and the light fixture above the shower seemed to be coming out. This wasn’t a huge issue for us, since we only stayed for a weekend. We had a great time and we will recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking about staying in the area.
