Food was not great. I got the fish tacos and the shell for puffy tacos tasted stale, like it had been fried and left out for a while. Prices were definitely on the higher end. I'm fine paying more if the food is good, but this was sub par.

My friend got the vegetarian burrito and said "anyone else could have made a better burrito". Please put more effort into your vegetarian offerings, they shouldn't be an afterthought.

No chips and salsa are offered for the table here, you have to pay for them.

Beautiful place with fair service but the absolute worst Mexican food in the history of ever. I ordered a surf and turf burrito and it wasn’t only flavorless it had no shrimp in the burrito. Only beef undercooked black beans and rice. The only shrimp I found was a shrimp shell piece. Plus the table salsa had no flavor at all. Ridiculously expensive and flavorless. Even our server gave us a recommendation for a better Mexican restaurant and admitted the food at Agave wasn’t great.
After spending almost $200 for 3 people we left without actually eating our food.
Food designed by people who don’t know Mexican food at all for diners who don’t know Mexican food either.

In all the years we’ve eaten at Agave I’ve never had anything that wasn’t delicious until this week. I tried the mango salad with steak an. added. I was totally disappointed. The salad was small in comparison to other salads I’ve had. The steak add on was $21 and I maybe got 3 oz of cooked steak. I won’t order it again. ☹️
