Winter Solstice Hike at Hike Burton Island Nature Preserve

Celebrate the winter solstice by hiking the 1-mile loop on Burton Island Nature Preserve. Learn about the history of this island and how it came to be part of the state park. Identify trees, shrubs, grasses and birds along the way and end the day by watching the sun set over the Indian River Bay. Online registration ends 24 hours prior to program.
