Winter Delmarva Birding Weekend

Join us for the 5th annual Winter Delmarva Birding Weekend, which celebrates the waterfowl, seabirds, shorebirds, raptors — and seals! — that are on full display in the mid-Atlantic during the winter months. We tallied 118 species during the 2019 Winter DBW, and highlight species may include Harlequin Duck, Short-eared Owl, Great Cormorant, Purple Sandpiper, and 27 species of waterfowl. Winter birding trips include a near-shore maritime boat cruise from Lewes, DE, to enjoy seals and pelagic and arctic migrants, eagle-watching trips, and jaunts in Delaware and Maryland through some of the most pristine public and private habitats on the East Coast.
