Walking Tours

Registration is  required. 

The cost of the tour is $10/person, payable in cash to the tour guide the day of the tour.

The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society kicks off its Walking Tours on June 17, 2023 starting at 9 a.m. at the bandstand. The personal walking tours  stroll from the bandstand on main street, down the boardwalk and side streets. Our tour guides  combine their knowledge of the ever-changing history of Rehoboth Beach with their personal memories and research at the museum.

The tour is a gentle 2 hour stroll around downtown Rehoboth Beach. Tour participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water or fill up a water bottle at the historic Women’s Christian Temperance Union Fountain on the boardwalk; one of the landmarks mentioned on the tour. There are restrooms available at the bandstand area.
