Jim Gibney fronts the band “Suburban Country,” which is comprised of five men who have been playing great music all over America. He promises songs with fascinating stories that may surprise you. You could consider the band an Alan Jackson tribute band – except that Jim looks nothing like Alan and seldom wears a white cowboy hat! The band also covers George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Willie Nelson, and George Jones – to name a few. Come on down and hear a steel guitar up close and personal – Buddy Griffin is a master of the instrument. In addition, there is Bob McCoy on Fender bass, Gantt Kushner on Telecaster guitar, and Michael Gibney locking it all together on drums. This is feel-good music played by guys who consider it a privilege to share their love of performing classic country – but without the hats!
