Special Screening on March 26 in celebration of Women's History Month! The Rehoboth Beach Film Society, partnering with Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware will present a special screening of Never Rarely Sometimes Always, an enlightening drama about two friends and the difficult road trip they embark upon. Faced with an unintended pregnancy and a lack of local support, Autumn and her cousin, Skylar, travel across state lines to New York City on a fraught journey of friendship, bravery and compassion. [2020, US, 101 min, Rated: PG-13] Dwight Brown of the National Newspaper Publishers Association, writes, ‘An enlightening script, expert ensemble acting and the most revealing film ever made about a young woman's right to choose.” Mark Kermode of The Observer says, “ Perfectly pitched and sensitively played, this is a truthful, powerful and profoundly moving fare from a film-maker at the very top of her game” and added "the film is perhaps best described as a perfectly observed portrait of female friendship; a coming-of-age story with road-movie inflections, piercingly honest and deeply affecting.” A post-film discussion will immediately follow the screening. The Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware has assembled a panel of women health professionals and family law experts to create an open dialogue between parents/trusted adults and adolescents. The discussion will be led by Angela Caswell-Monack, Cait Spieker-Gee, Ashley Bickel, Mary Vaughn and Annie Caswell. Venue: Cinema Art Theater. Presenter: Rehoboth Beach Film Society.
