DESCRIPTION:View the interior of the recently restored 1917 Pennsylvania Ra
 ilroad\n(PRR) “cabin car” which is located at Lewes Junction between t
 he\nLewes Public Library and the Lewes History Museum at the Rollins\nComm
 unity Center. Cabin car is the designation PRR assigned to their\ncabooses
  which served as a home away from home for the railroad crew\nmembers. It 
 was on the last revenue train to operate between\nGeorgetown and Lewes in 
 December\, 2017 prior to decommissioning of the\nrail track by DelDOT. \nL
 JRBA purchased the car from Delaware Coast Line Railroad in December\,\n20
 21. After undergoing cosmetic restoration to approximate its\noriginal loo
 k\, PRR 477123 was moved from Georgetown to the newly\nrestored track at L
 ewes Junction on December 19\, 2022. Finishing\ntouches\, such as historic
 ally accurate decals\, were applied on site. A\nceremony was held on Natio
 nal Train Day\, May 13\, 2022\, to christen and\nofficially introduce the 
 Red Caboose to the community.
