SUMMARY:Ray LaMontagne: Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Join Ray LaMontagne on the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour. Ray's
  vast\ncatalog spans nine full-length records\, chart-topping radio single
s\,\nand a Grammy win\, in addition to multiple Grammy nominations. This\n
year will prove to be an exciting one for LaMontagne as he heads out\non t
 he road celebrating his first full-length album\, \"Trouble\,\"\nplaying t
he album in its entirety as well as songs from across his\ncatalog. Of thi
s landmark anniversary\, LaMontagne has written the\nfollowing personal no
te to his fans: As many of you know\, last\nSeptember was the 20th anniver
sary of the release of Trouble. Twenty\nyears. Two Decades. That's a lot o
f water under the bridge. Every cell\nin my body has changed three times o
ver in that time. I have been\nthree times reborn. There are moments in yo
ur life when you need to\nplace a marker. Some people think that it is bra
ve\, or fearless\, to\nnever look back. I don’t believe that. For the si
mple reason that if\nyou never look back you will never see how far you ha
ve come. This\nyear I place a sign post: twenty years of Trouble. When Tro
uble was\ninitially released Vinyl was considered a dead format\, never to
\nbreathe again Digital audio was the new King. As we know this has\nprove
d untrue. Each year more and more music lovers are listening to\nVinyl and
appreciating it for its depth and breadth of sound\, for its\nphysical he
ft\, for its tangible realness. Over the past few months\nBrian Lee and Bo
b Jackson at Waygate Mastering have remastered the\nalbum for the first ti
me specifically for Vinyl. And I have to say\, it\nsounds incredible. They
have managed to bring out subtleties in the\nvocals\, the instrumentation
\, that were somehow lost previously. It\nsounds as if a sonic veil has be
en lifted. I cannot thank them enough.\nTo further honor this moment I wil
l be hitting the road later this\nsummer for the Trouble 20th Anniversary
Tour\, playing the album top to\ntail for the first time since it was rele
ased. I hope you will come\nout and join me and my friends and help us cel
ebrate this moment in\ntime. It wouldn’t be the same without you. Venue:
  Freeman Arts\nPavilion.\n
