The show\,\n titled “Sunrise\, Sunset”\, is comprised of 37 works from the\nsociety ’s Signature Members\, showcasing a range of artistic talent\nand skills . \n\n \n\nThe juried watercolor paintings are landscapes that capture t he\nevolution of an environment’s light and atmosphere during a day’s\ nbeginning and end. The 15 participating Signature Members have chosen\nto paint a variety of subjects — from lighthouses to boating trips\,\nsand y animals and tropical plants. Yet\, the majority stay close to\nDelaware ’s scenery by featuring beach and water scenes. With such a\nrange of im ages\, this exhibition has something for every taste. \n\n \n\nIn 2004\, a small group of artists joined together\, bounded by their\nlove of the watercolor medium. The group grew into the Delaware\nWatercolor Society\, an organization with members from all walks of\nlife. The society’s miss ion focuses on exploring\, creating\, and\nsharing the wonders of watercol or and other water media with new\,\nemerging\, and professional artists. Membership is open to all\nindividuals 18 years or older\, regardless of r esidency.
